It started in 1988 with five friends in Delft. They constantly challenged each other: who would make the most strategic move on the chessboard? Whose algorithm would solve the hardest task?

Royal FloraHolland, the largest flower auction in the world, wanted to realize a modern cloud workplace for its 1,700 employees. The company was looking for a partner who could design and implement this workplace, and provide further support and management of the workplace in the future.
OGD realized a fully equipped cloud workplace based on Microsoft Azure, Windows 10 and Office 365 technology. The workplace is in line with Royal FloraHolland ‘s IT objectives and enables its 1,700 office employees to work from anywhere, at any time. Additionally, OGD provides ongoing support services for the new way of working, such as user adoption, end-user support, system management and integration, and hardware support.
With the new cloud workplace, Royal FloraHolland achieved a productivity increase of 12% and a 30% rise in employee satisfaction. The workplace enables the staff to work more efficiently by responding specifically to their individual wishes. Furthermore, Royal FloraHolland's data is now more secure in the cloud thanks to OGD's comprehensive security services. Royal FloraHolland has now more control over the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) due to the flexible and scalable cost model.
A digital workplace with which every type of employee can work together smartly, safely and effectively
The largest port of Europe, Port of Rotterdam, was looking for a partner for setting up a digital workplace for its 1,270 employees. The workplace had to enable employees to work more effectively and to cater the wishes and requirements of different types of employees, both in the office and beyond. The wish was also to strengthen security with the new workplace. In addition to the workplace itself, the port authority was looking for a sparring partner for collaboration on further digitization; a partner who could also take full control over the generic IT services, such as the service desk and workplace and system management.
OGD developed various digital workplaces for different PoR employee personas. During the migration process, OGD paid a lot of attention to the adoption and training of the employees.

Port of Rotterdam now has an agile and future-proof workplace for all its employees. As a result, employee satisfaction rose to 7.5 and the number of reports and disruptions fell by 16.6%. On top of that, Port of Rotterdam’s data within this workplace is now more secure, thanks to OGD's comprehensive security services.
